Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality

The mission of the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality is to protect people through the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land on which we thrive, helping to make Oklahoma an even better place to live.

The 1996 Amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) allowed EPA to make a grant to Oklahoma to fund a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). The primary purpose of the program is to provide low interest loans and other financial assistance to municipalities and rural water districts for the construction of public water supply projects.

 

Oklahoma Water Resources Board

The mission of the OWRB is to protect and enhance the quality of life for Oklahomans by managing and improving the state’s water resources to ensure clean and reliable water supplies, a strong economy, and a safe and healthy environment.

The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) is a low-interest loan program to assist communities with municipal wastewater/stormwater infrastructure construction projects and other pollution control projects.
