West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (WVDEP) enforces state and federal environmental laws in West Virginia to help protect air, water, and land. WVDEP administers the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the Clean Water State Revolving Fund are funding programs to address water quality problems through wastewater facility construction, upgrades, or expansions. The programs are charged with general oversight, fiscal management and administrative compliance review of local governmental entities that receive funds.
