These loans cover capital improvements that increase public health and compliance with drinking water regulations,\u00a0Loan repayments can range from 20 to 30 years. In some cases, partial loan forgiveness is offered, and Consolidation Feasibility Study grants.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0c6890; text-align: left;\">Washington Department of Ecology<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ecology.wa.gov\/About-us\" target=\"\u201c_blank\u201d\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/swefcsrfswitchboard.unm.edu\/srf\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/washington-dept-of-ecology-logo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"auto\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our vision:<\/strong> Our innovative partnerships sustain healthy land, air, and water in harmony with a strong economy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our mission:<\/strong> Protect, preserve, and enhance the environment for current and future generations.<\/p>\n<p>The <a style=\"color: #0c6890; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/ecology.wa.gov\/About-us\/How-we-operate\/Grants-loans\/Find-a-grant-or-loan\/Water-Quality-grants-and-loans\" target=\"\u201c_blank\u201d\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Water Quality Combined Funding program<\/a> is the annual single-application process to apply for funding from multiple sources all at once, for eligible projects that benefit water quality.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides grants to Washington under Section 319 of the federal Clean Water Act. The state is required to provide a 40 percent match in funding.
