The <a href=\"https:\/\/dec.alaska.gov\/water\/state-revolving-fund\/\">Alaska State Revolving Fund (SRF)<\/a> Program provides financing to qualified recipients to improve their drinking water and wastewater facilities and complete other water-quality related projects. Below-market rate loans with repayment terms up to 30 years result in significant cost savings to recipients over the life of the project. The\u00a0SRF Program provides loans for planning, design and construction. Principal forgiveness may be provided to recipients who qualify as disadvantaged systems. Availability of funding and forgiveness varies each year. The <a title=\"intended-use-plans\" href=\"https:\/\/dec.alaska.gov\/water\/state-revolving-fund\/intended-use-plans\/\">Intended Use Plans<\/a> provide more information about funding opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dec.alaska.gov\/water\/state-revolving-fund\/drinking-water-fund\/\">Alaska Drinking Water Fund<\/a> is a low-interest loan program to assist public water systems comply with drinking water regulations and protect public health.
